ABC
(Int'l) Records Company was established in August of
2000. We aim at carrying forward the splendid Chinese
culture, introducing advanced cultures in the world, and
producing world-level albums. We undertake the duty of
promoting intercultural communication and bringing
Chinese albums to overseas markets. Young as our company
is, it has a quite high starting point with our
technology, equipments and personnel taking the lead in
the domestic industry.
In recent years, ABC (Int'l) Records has made great
development in scale, turnover, and market share. We
have already won several "firsts" in China: the first
one to Introduce authorized HDCD code system; the first
one to adopt DSD recording system; the first one to
attach great efforts to the SACD market; the first one
to break the price monopoly of the SACD market; the
first one to localize the price at a new low RMB100
which increased the popularity of SACD among Chinese
people.
With regard to recording, we, with Canada as our base and
thanks to our close cooperation with first-rate talents
from USA, Russia, Japan, etc., have actually realized
the idea of ¡°going to the world and introducing into
China¡±. In our course of learning and adopting advanced
technologies abroad, we made lots of pioneering trials
good for Chinese records to break into the international
market. We pursue perfect. Though we have entered the
international market, we are still investing a lot in
perfecting musical content, enhancing promotion, and
cooperating with prestigious musicians in order to
create better enjoyments for the listeners. We, in
cooperation with famous musicians and recording
companies, have produced a great number of exquisite
CDs, DVDs, LPs, and SACDs, including Soul of Violin (SACD+DVD)
of ¡°genius boy¡± Li Chuanyun (with CBC <Canada
Broadcasting Corporation>), several records for the
great pianist Yin Chengzong (made in Russia, King of
Piano (2CDs) (with the top German pianist Stainway, The
Miracle Makers (2SACDs+1DVCD+1DVD) and Playing on My
Precious Violin (4CDs) (with USA Stradivari*Guarneri*Oliveira),
the Reoccurrence of Legend Series which leads us to
review the miens of such famous singers as Li Guyi, Guan
Mucun, Min Huifen, etc (with China Record Corporation),
scores of LPs (with the renowned acoustics expert Mark
Levinson, and the like.
In addition to our advanced technology, we aim to create our
own style in the aspect of musical content. In recent
years, we made many successful discs of Chinese style,
such as Work Songs Along Huanghe River, Listen to the
Oriental, Dream of the Oriental, etc., which sold well
in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Europe, America, and other regions
and countries immediately after their appearances in the
market. Of course, all successes we made are
indispensable to so great support from China Copyright
Center. In the future, ABC will continue adhering to the
tenet of ¡°Sincerest & Truest¡± to return extensive
consumers and friends.
Our dreams maybe cannot come true in a short period. But, the
practical, diligent, and confident ABC will dedicate
wholly to creating more better records with the
principle of ¡°Basing on Chinese Culture & Aiming at
Foreign Brands¡±.
