● HD-Mastering CD technology is based upon the company's production process, and applied only to the production line of the company.
● The process described below is a specially designed one, different from the general production process.
● The CD referred in the process is the 120mm read-only standard music compact disc, without special requirements, fully compatible with standard CD players.

Molding Process of Ordinary CD Stamper：         Burn audio data file to a CD-R, and then make the stamper by reading CD-R. The traditional process will cause the loss of data with the change of sound.

Molding Process of HD-Mastering CD Stamper：         Store directly the satisfactory audio data file (CD Image) in the hard disk, then make the stamper by reading the hard disk, but not burn and read a CD-R as the traditional way does, which can avoid bad effect occurred in the process. Stamper molding is considered to be the most essential step of the entire record production process, and any severance is strictly forbidden. Once there is any severance, the CD will be scrapped.        Pit formed in stamper molding (see the picture), is the smallest thing on the stamper. It’s as small as smog particle, which means that even the smallest impurity can damage large amounts of data.

The new material of liquid crystal panel is polycarbonate, which makes a big difference from ordinary CD material. It can enhance the transparency and achieve better acoustic fidelity.


HD-Mastering CD Production Process

The Refractive Index
       The refractive index refers to the ratio of the two parts (usually is direct light and abnormal light) formed when the laser is reading the data surface. When reading CD, the laser (780nm) penetrates the transparent foundation plate of 1.2mm and reflects by the reflective layer. So if the refractive index is lower, the optical characteristic is better, which means lower distortion. The Advantage of the High Damping Coating
